20 hours per week
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting dishes, taking responsibility for certain areas given by the Head Chef, helping to develop new dishes and menus, monitoring portion and waste control, and general tasks and duties required in the kitchen, while working close with the Head Chef.
This role requires experience/knowledge in catering and/or kitchens, love for fresh food, an eye for detail, passion and determination, creativity and ideas, and monitoring and maintaining the quality of the food in The King’s Centre kitchen. Experience in bakery is a plus but not essential.
We are located near City Centre (Oxford) and offer a friendly atmosphere with opportunity for career growth. This is a part time role, 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday. During busy seasons, shift flexibility might be required.

Events (Catering/Venue) Team
This role is varied and shifts can involve any combination of catering service (simple refreshments through to sit-down dinner), kitchen support (washing up) and room set up and pack down. Some evening and weekend work are available depending on bookings.
The ability to work well as part of a team and follow instruction are essential. The work is often physically demanding, so a reasonable level of fitness is preferred.
