The King’s Centre is Oxford’s largest multi-purpose conference and events venue, offering a welcoming and flexible space for a wide range of occasions. Our purpose is simple: to serve our clients, our community, and everyone who walks through our doors. We are passionate about creating a professional yet relaxed environment where every event, whether large or small, feels valued and supported.
With over 9,000m² of event space, including two magnificent convention halls and six versatile meeting rooms, we are equipped to host everything from intimate meetings and training sessions to large conferences, exams, exhibitions and weddings. Our experienced team is always on hand to guide and support you, ensuring your event runs smoothly from start to finish.

The King’s Centre has a rich history. It was formerly the home of Oxford Instruments, where pioneering work led to the development and construction of the world’s first whole-body superconducting MRI magnet. This achievement is recognised by an official Blue Plaque on site.
In 2002, the property was purchased by Oxfordshire Community Churches and continues to serve as the base for Oxford Community Church and its work in the local community. Since then, the Centre has been continually upgraded and developed, becoming one of the most flexible and well-equipped conference and events facilities in the heart of Oxford.
As a not-for-profit organisation, all surplus income is reinvested into local community projects by our trustees.
